Jules and Phil Take a Break!

After many years of dedicated service to Burnley Athletic Club, Phil and Jules Wall have decided to take a well-earned rest and have stepped down from the Committee.

However, the Wall family involvement in Burnley AC doesn't end there - Martin and Chris are still very much actively involved in the Club.

Words are somehow never adequate to fully express appreciation but Burnley Athletic Club would like to take this opportunity to thanks Jules & Phil for all the hard work they've put in over the years.

Open Event 2006

Burnley Athletic Club invite you to our Under 11's Open Meeting on Sunday, 30th July

First Field event is at 12 noon, first Track event starts at 12.30pm.

This year for the first time Clubs who bring a team of 10 (5 girls and 5 boys), will be entered for the Team Event Trophy.

All Teams must be declared before the commencement of the competition, to be eligible for this trophy.

Application forms are available at the Club



Sports Relief

Dear All,

You are invited to join us on Monday 26th June 2006 when we will be undertaking a Sport Relief Mile with a difference.

You will be able to run, walk, jump, throw or ride specially adapted bikes (for disabled athletes only) to meet your commitment to complete a mile for Sports Relief.

All you need is £1.00 (which will go to sports relief) and the determination to complete the mile in the one hour allotted (6 - 7pm). On completion you will receive a Burnley AC I Did The Mile Certificate.
